Open House & 30th Anniversary of museum opening.
On Sunday 28 July 2024 the DuBois Area Historical Society hosted an open house to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our museum opening. Tours were conducted of the three society buildings and refreshments were served. An encore presentation of the M.I. McCreight talk and powerpoint was presented by Society Historian Tom Schott.

Education Room
In March of 2024 the DuBois Area Historical Society completed the purchase of new chairs and tables for the education room in Building 30. New audio/visual equipment was also installed that will provide enhanced presentation opportunities for members and guests of the society.
Lantern Walk Draws 205 Participants
A cool, crisp late afternoon and early evening did not discourage the highest attendance at the DuBois Area Historical Society’s 15th Spirit of DuBois Lantern Walk in five years.
