The DuBois Area Historical Society is an all-volunteer not for profit charitable purposes organization. We are dedicated to studying and preserving the rich history of the DuBois Area.
To accomplish our mission, we are dependent on the dedication of a diverse group of volunteers that maintain our genealogy library, accept, categorize, and display the thousands of objects that are contained in our three buildings. These people research, prepare and present educational programs to the community, lead walking tours, publish a quarterly newsletter and host daily visitors to our society buildings.
Membership campaigns, fundraising and grant writing, are all volunteer driven. If you have an interest in the history of our area, won’t you please consider becoming a volunteer for the DuBois Area Historical Society.
